Memory
Architecture direction confirmed 2026-09-09: Cloudflare OS is the user-facing app/work environment; Sphere is one of its governed gatekeepers/resource services, not the primary UI. Cloudflare OS provides the durable workspace, computer-like environment, interactive UI/gadgets, and workspace agents. Different OS workspace agents/gadgets can operate as different GlassAgent callsigns and process work across gadgets. Sphere supplies callsign-aware coordination, Work Engineering contracts/maps/lots/gates, memory as a separately connected MCP service, and governed external resources. This direction follows prior SecondBrain decisions: AgentSphere coordination belongs inside the OS layer as workspace facets/gadgets, while external-agent access remains an MCP interface; the live AgentSphereDO is a proof/reference, not the final deployment. The current Sphere CANARY spikes (WE, codemode, context contracts) have validated the gatekeeper/resource model.
