DEPLOY_WORKER DIRECT UPLOAD WORKS (Aug 21, 2026, 11:23am BST): Direct CF API upload works (~13s for 3.6MB bundle). Workflow still stuck at deploy-sphere step when called via step.do() — likely fetch hanging inside workflow context or CF Workflows timeout. Next fixes: (1) Add AbortSignal.timeout(60000) to fetch in deployUserWorkerDirect; (2) Check workflow step timeout config; (3) Alternative: split provision into fast workflow (D1/KV/Vectorize/R2) + separate admin API call for worker deploy (bypasses workflow for the slow step). Current state: test-alpha and test-gamma active, manual deploy workaround works.
