Decision (2026-08-19): Next build job is the SurrealDB version of Sphere, inside a Cloudflare container. Persistence via the existing SurrealKV + R2 FUSE container setup. Runs alongside Xberg (ingestion/redaction) and Crawlberg (website mining). Schema starting point: sphere_schema.surql — translated from the Project Think build spec Layer 1 (Amended) SQLite Schema v2 (docuclear-mcp sphere, thread d697370d-66b8-46d5-880d-86c0fe1e31a8, seq 5-6) plus the SurrealDB vision decisions (entry 32d0b338). Key mappings: 12 edge types become native RELATION tables (Temporal Dome supersede needs no UNIQUE workaround), FTS5 -> BM25 SEARCH indexes, Vectorize 1024d Qwen-3 -> HNSW indexes on entry/block embeddings, DO broadcast -> LIVE SELECT. One SurrealDB instance per sphere = isolation boundary (no sphere_id fields). Open decision: embedding generation location (edge Worker vs local model in container) since Workers AI isn't available inside containers.
