Architecture/product naming decision (2026-08-22): Call the underlying architecture/platform 'GlassAgent' (user owns glassagent.ai). DocuClear is the product built on GlassAgent, with DocuClear representing clarity for users and real work. GlassAgent should describe the general architecture for transparent, inspectable human-agent work environments; DocuClear should be the concrete product experience built on that architecture.

The interaction layer previously called 'Cloudflare OS' is now 'GlassAgent Workspace' for internal use (architecture, repos, docs, agent self-description); 'Cloudflare OS' is retired in both tiers (someone else's platform name, dev-speak, overclaims to SMB users). 'DocuClear WorkSphere' considered and REJECTED: (1) 'sphere' is load-bearing terminology for the headless per-customer data plane — reusing it for the UI layer inverts the architecture's core distinction; (2) it couples shared infrastructure to the DocuClear product brand, blocking the multi-product future (vibesdk product line, any second product); (3) three-word compound. Informal product language: 'your DocuClear workspace'. String-level implementation remains the terminology audit in 9eb83a67 (gadget→app/tool, blueprint→template, gatekeeper never user-facing).

(1) Our vibesdk fork/deployment = DOCUCLEAR_FACTORY; unqualified 'vibesdk' = upstream cloudflare/vibesdk only. (2) REPO PREFIXES: internal repos int_, customer repos cust_; greenfield repos live in the new GitHub org 'docuclear' (legacy repos under DevmanMikey unchanged). (3) Consequent renames: gatekeeper-vibesdk → GATEKEEPER-FACTORY. Examples: int_factory, int_sphere_core, int_gatekeeper_factory, int_gatekeeper_github. (4) Symmetry PROPOSED by Perplexity (pending Mike): the control app deployment = docuclear_control. User-facing rule unchanged: DocuClear is the ONLY user-facing name; int_/cust_ prefixes are org hygiene, never branding.

NEW: naming becomes a GOVERNED BOUNDARY — (1) NAMING_CONTRACT to be drafted (v0.1, Perplexity): every platform name allocated, logged, tracked; retired names quarantined, never reused (Cloudflare OS / WorkSphere precedent — the sphere-collision lesson); user-facing class = singleton rule (DocuClear only, additions need Mike's approval). (2) NAME DATABASE = purpose-built deterministic gadget in docuclear_control: the registry of all names (claim/reserve/lookup/retire), DO-backed, append-only log, audit event per allocation. Enforcement hooks: deploy-time name validation in DEPLOYER_CONTRACT §5 + CI naming lint (repos/manifests may only use registered names) = contract↔code check for nomenclature. Recorded in the factory decision and the naming extension as 'docuclear' — both read as docuclear-ai. FIX REQUIRED: NAMING_CONTRACT v0.1 draft §5 seed registry references org 'docuclear' — correct to docuclear-ai before the naming contract's ratification. (First live demonstration of why the name database exists: dictation drifted the org name within an hour of creation.)
