FACTORY (vibesdk) UPDATE — post-gap reconciliation part 1 (Mike, Sep 4, 2026, ~00:26 BST, first-party; follows gap marker 6c219794). FAILED APPROACH — fresh-clone deploy: Mike cloned upstream vibesdk, created a private repo, ran deploy — 'total mess': it collided with the EXISTING wizard-deployed vibesdk instance because the new deploy hardcodes bindings, worker names, etc. already present on the account. ABANDONED. During this, the cheap replacement model (incident 6c219794) made drastic recommendations — nuke everything, and claimed only one vibesdk instance can live on a single CF account. Both REJECTED by Mike; the one-instance claim is now disproven (below). ASSET IDENTIFIED: a clean WIZARD-DEPLOYED vibesdk instance already on the account, with a wizard-created PRIVATE repo linked to that deployment (now cloned locally). Repo has NO code changes beyond the CF account details the wizard configured. MODEL TRIAL: Mike is trialing Muse Spark 1.3 in opencode as coding model (alternative under consideration: MiMo 2.5, also high quality). Muse Spark did a research run on vibesdk deployment options — AGENT REPORT with file:line citations, consistent with Mike's observed failure, NOT yet independently spot-checked (evidence standard a5e10e10): - Verdict: NOT single-deployment-per-account. It is: many scripts, ONE platform account + ONE dispatch namespace, plus hardcoded bindings on the Think path. - Classic sandbox path: per-project script names (templateCustomizer.ts:72 customizeWranglerJsonc stamps project name; :237 generateProjectName unique suffix); but CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID / CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN / DISPATCH_NAMESPACE are env-level singletons (sandboxSdkClient.ts:1746-1750, 1881-1889; also ResourceProvisioner :40); buildWorkerBindings (deployer/utils/index.ts:161) reads only assets/DO/KV/D1/R2 from wrangler. - Think platform path (likely what the failed deploy hit): deployThinkAppToPlatform (think.ts:993) → deployThinkBundleToPlatform (think-user-deploy.ts:202); per-app names blueprint.title||projectName||vibe-<instanceId> (sanitizeWorkerName :35); buildThinkBundleArtifacts (:76-139) IGNORES the repo's wrangler.json — only DO 'App' + assets ASSETS, vars undefined, fixed migration new_sqlite_classes:['App']. Custom KV/D1/R2/service/secrets bindings silently vanish — matches Mike's observed behaviour. - Think user-account path (:178-195): per-user accountId/accessToken, deploys to user's own account, same hardcoded artifacts. - Gate answers: many script names per account = YES; single account+namespace for platform-deployed apps = YES (env singletons); custom-repo bindings dropped = YES on Think path. OPEN: which path the failed deploy actually took (Think/SpaceDO vs classic sandbox) determines the exact edit needed to carry workspace bindings through. PLAN (Mike, expediency): ADOPT the wizard-deployed vibesdk instance + its wizard-created private repo as docuclear_factory rather than attempting another fresh deploy. CONFLICTS / CATCH-UPS (Perplexity, reported not improvised): (1) tension with greenfield-factory decision 5e4408f5 — adoption violates the letter, but the repo is upstream-clean (account config only), the deploy already exists, and the wizard-retirement ruling bars NEW wizard deploys, not adoption of an existing one; pattern rhymes with control's 'factory ADOPTS via keep_bindings, never rebuild'. Needs Mike's explicit ruling. (2) If adopted: rename/transfer repo into docuclear-ai org as int_* per NAMING_CONTRACT; record upstream baseline SHA (UPSTREAM.md equivalent; check whether the wizard repo has an upstream remote to cloudflare/vibesdk); inventory + audit wizard-configured secrets and API token scopes; log wizard-era worker/binding names as naming-lint fossils for registry catch-up; inventory the instance's existing KV/R2/DO state before adoption. (3) Forward-looking: 5d0286c4 reserved vibesdk for PUBLIC/SMB generation with per-app capability contracts ({egress, secrets: none}) — the Think path's hardcoded-bindings limitation means generated apps can't get KV/R2/secrets until that path is patched to carry bindings; classic path covers only 5 binding types. Fine for v1 (egress-only public forms), a real constraint for contract-based v2.
[Update Sep 4, 2026]: [RULING, Sep 4, 2026, ~01:04 BST — Mike]: ADOPT the wizard-deployed vibesdk instance as docuclear_factory — 'I think we use it, it is up and clean.' The HOW (repo rename/transfer to int_*, UPSTREAM.md baseline SHA, wizard token-scope audit, instance state inventory, naming-fossil notes) is DEFERRED to a later session. The tension with greenfield decision 5e4408f5 is resolved by owner ruling: the deploy already exists and is upstream-clean; no new wizard action involved. Catch-up list remains queued for the 'how' session.
[Update Sep 4, 2026]: [MODEL TRIAL SIGNAL, Sep 4, 2026, ~01:10 BST — Mike]: Muse Spark 1.3 'made a HUGE difference'. Evidence: the /tags hand-back report (artifact on 4b8031cf) was produced by the agent from within docuclear_control itself — cross-endpoint evidence table, eliminated-hypothesis discipline, correct hedging. Positive signal for Muse Spark 1.3 vs MiMo 2.5; also a dogfood-directive proof point — the environment is producing audit-grade artifacts about its own dependencies.
