INGESTION_CONTRACT rev 2 finalized (Aug 2026): result = { chunks: [{ content, metadata? }] }; 50MB cap on file_b64 path (128MB Worker memory: raw bytes + base64 coexist at both hops); 10-min job timeout via DO alarm treated as FINAL failure (decrement activeJobCount, write metering, terminal — sphere re-submits with force:true); late-completing fibers must check job status before writing results so they never overwrite or double-meter a timed-out job. Contract discipline win: ingestion coder caught that the file on disk was rev 1 by hashing it (6244E0C7...) instead of building against a chat description. Rule now established: the contract lives in the file, hash-confirmed in both repos, never in chat messages.
