Critical disambiguation: work item = coordination task (D1) and never a WE object; work object = WE artefact (project DO); lot = WE run instance; callsign = global operator identity (D1); operator profile = project-local workstation authorization (DO); workstation/contract/routing/allocation/characteristic/evidence are WE definitions in the DO. Chain: work item → callsign → workstation → contract → inputs/outputs/evidence. Canonical verbs/states: evaluateGate (not evaluateQuality/submit_quality_decision); work item status closed (not completed); statuses pending/open/blocked/review/closed/note; callsign state machine unclaimed/active/idle/expired/stale (10min/1hr/5min, no ttl_days/deprecated — Perplexity proposals frozen). Edge vocabularies: D1 edges (8 types incl. about_person, document_of) vs project-DO WE edges (6-type closed subset) — different stores, never mixed. Project anchors (Option A): one canonical memory per project, title Project: <slug>, tags type:project-anchor + project:<slug>, status canonical, tag-located, no FK.
